Mâyâ makes our senses the imperfect instrument of truth.

Everything we perceive – sight, sound, touch, scent, thought – is illusion. Bound by these senses, we circle endlessly, unable to grasp the deeper truths of existence. But by expanding our awareness, we can move beyond illusion and embrace true reality.

The five birds symbolize our five senses (sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch), driving the wheels of our being. Yet, only by opening ourselves to Pure Consciousness can we access the boundless depths within.

The red Maya Mandala, embedded in the windmill’s mechanism, represents the unseen force that propels us – either into illusion or enlightenment.
